“We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell.”
~ Oscar Wilde
“Do not be dismayed to learn there is a bit of the devil in you. There is a bit of the devil in us all.”
~ Arthur Byron Cover
Theatre Bizarre wishes to acknowledge and give thanks to all who helped in making our Preview Gala and The Procession this year a rousing success.
Achieving our goal of The Preview Gala in its inaugural year was daunting to say the least. The night was elegant and darkly beautiful under a Hunter’s Moon. Our guests, the performances, and the fantastic music culminated into a swirl of decadence and delight none of us will soon forget.
Being our third year within the gorgeous Masonic Temple, we have begun to feel we have a home again. A place to create the playground we long for in dreams. The Procession was truly a dream come true.
None of this would be possible without the hands and support of so many: our production team and tireless crew, our amazing volunteers and Zombo’s army of minions, the unbelievable talents of the performers, musicians, and ghouls, those who fed us, the support of The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Wasserman Projects, and the Masonic Temple of Detroit. Most of all, we wish to thank you, the costumed revelers and masked believers in the bizarre. You are the life blood of us.
Until we Danse Macabre once more, Halloween is here and Zombo Lives!
The Procession is sold out and there will not be any sales at the door.

For those attending The Procession Preview Gala on October 18th Theatre Bizarre is honored. It will be our pleasure to welcome you to this inaugural celebration of the season proceeding into The Greatest Masquerade on Earth.
We hope this evening will bring you closer into the macabre spectacle we create as we roister and rollick throughout the night – a night brimming with many indulgences and surprises under a full moon.
We wish to express our appreciation for your generous support of Theatre Bizarre and the arts community in Detroit. Part of the proceeds of your Preview Gala ticket will assist us in receiving our grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, for which we truly thank you.
